Grounding is a two way energetic current. Anchoring and nourishing, grounding allows us to feel safe, secure, solid, stable, strong.
A Simple Grounding Technique
Inhale and exhale slowly and deeply. Imagine your legs as plugs with roots growing out from your feet. These roots penetrate deep through the earth, through the dirt, and bedrock. Allow those roots to discharge all the energy that no longer serves you into the earth where it will be transmuted (guilt, sadness, shame, anger, insecurity, fear, etc... [this allows you to make room for the good stuff])
Then, continuing to breath deeply, visualize drawing up fresh, stable Mother Earth energy of love and nourishment into your entire body to recharge you. Take as long or as short as you need.
